Myrmex

AI for identity and access management

People change roles. Access needs to follow.

Create and deactivate users, reset passwords and update groups in Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace. Myrmex connects the request to execution, within your operational permissions and rules.

One person. Access across different environments.

Connect the directories and define which actions can be performed in each.

The problem rarely ends with a single account.

Onboarding starts with a ticket. A role change affects groups. Offboarding requires checking what remains accessible. When each step needs another console, it becomes hard to know whether the request is truly complete.

From a request to an access change.

AI checks the current state, prepares the actions and executes what is authorized. Results show which accounts and groups were handled and what still needs attention.

Start work with the right access.

Create the new analyst’s account and add only the groups approved for the role.

  1. Check the details and directories involved
  2. Create the account and assign authorized groups
  3. Verify the final state and record outstanding work

The role informs access; a similar existing account is not authorization to copy all its privileges.

Understand the identity before acting.

Users, groups, privileges and authentication settings help explain why someone has access — or why they cannot work. Bring this context into investigation and action.

The directory remains the reference.

Myrmex acts through connected integrations. Each environment keeps its own credentials, permissions and available operations.

Active Directory

Administer domain accounts and groups, handle passwords and track user status.

Microsoft Entra ID

Manage users and groups; investigate privileged roles and access settings.

Google Workspace

Manage users and groups; review administrative roles and authentication conditions.

Who still has access they no longer need?

Daily operations also reveal old accounts, elevated privileges and authentication gaps. Use directory evidence to guide reviews instead of relying only on the memory of whoever granted access.

Accounts and relationships

Review inactive users, guests and accounts linked to offboarding.

Privileges and groups

Understand which memberships and roles extend an identity’s reach.

Authentication

Investigate MFA coverage and relevant settings available from the provider.

Support resolves the request. Identity sustains the policy.

The service desk can handle a password or access request. The identity team defines criteria, tracks privileges and reviews the whole lifecycle. Context and records connect these responsibilities.

Access affects a person’s ability to work.

Does Myrmex only read directories?

It also performs actions such as creating and deactivating users, resetting passwords and changing groups. Execution depends on the connector, granted permissions and applicable approvals.

Does it automatically synchronize every directory?

Each integration is queried and operated within its defined scope. Connecting several directories does not imply automatic synchronization or identical actions across them.

Is this the same as SSO for signing in to Myrmex?

They serve different purposes. Here Myrmex manages identities in connected systems. Enterprise SSO controls how people sign in to Myrmex itself.
